Casa del Arancio - Villabuona Pescaglia

Villabuona is a very quiet and quaint mediaeval village with beautiful views overlooking the valley. It is well situated for the Versillian coast and approximately 20 minutes from the historical city of Lucca. Pescaglia is 10 minutes away with its shops, bars and restaurants.

Nestled within the village of Villabuona, Casa del Arancio is a 1 bedroomed house set below a large rustic stone house, indicative of the area, and is suitable for families or any anyone who would like an active or tranquil holiday. The narrow streets are an exciting adventure for children to explore with a small play park area close by. Numerous walks are accessible around the area - a sheer delight if you are a keen walker.

Casa del Arancio caters for a maximum of 4 guests and be found within a private courtyard. It has one double bedroom and a bathroom on the 1st floor with a large living room and separate kitchen on the ground floor. The house is suitable for holidays from May through to September as there is no central heating.

  • Table and chairs are provided so you may enjoy a home cooked Tuscan meal or simply have a lovely glass of wine and a good book. A barbecue is also provided for the Al fresco experience.

Points to note:

Children are most welcome, however, care must be taken with the little ones as the stairs are made of stone.

Linen and towels, electricity and water are included in the rental costs.

Some elderly residents do live in the area and Casa del Arancio is suitable for elderly guests provided that they are mobile and are able to walk with ease.

As with most mediaeval, mountain villages it is not possible to park outside the property and it is reached by walking up gradual steps and then along a cobbled street for approximately 200M. Free car parking is available in the village car park.

Booking notes:

A deposit of £100.00 will be required on booking and the remainder to be received 8 weeks prior to the date of your arrival. Should you wish to cancel the booking at any time, then 80% of the deposit will be refunded provided we receive written confirmation 8 weeks prior to your arrival. An additional security deposit of £100.00 will be required with your booking and this will be refunded with 10 dayno breakages or damage to the property.
